Vanessa porter is a nyc based costume designer for film and television.

Her designs have premiered at acclaimed film festivals like Sundance, TIFF, VFF, and SXSW. She has designed films for Warner Brothers Pictures/New Line Cinema, Legendary Pictures, and Amazon Studios. Vanessa has designed original series for Disney+, NETFLIX, and Peacock.

Most recently, Vanessa designed the second season of the horror anthology series GOOSEBUMPS for Disney+/Sony, which will air in 2025. Also in early 2025, the film COMPANION will be in theaters. COMPANION is a sci-fi horror film from WB/New Line Cinema and the producers of BARBARIAN.

Vanessa has lead costume departments both nationally and internationally. She loves the challenge of working in unfamiliar environments and connecting with creative collaborators everywhere the industry takes her.
